GENERAL INFORMATION | STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE

The Agilent Spectrophotometer measures optical absorbance in the 190-1100 nm wavelength range. Samples are typically loaded as aqueous/organic solutions in 1cm quartz or plastic cuvettes, but other configurations are possible. A sample thermostat is also available for temperatures in the -20-110°C. The wavelength accuracy is < ± 0.5 nm and the measurement reproducibility is of < ± 0.02 nm.
