GENERAL INFORMATION | OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The 108 Sputter Coater is typically used for sample coating with Au-Pd of non-conducting samples for standard SEM imaging. The system is simple to operate, offers rapid pumpdown times, fine grain coatings and negligible sample heating.
Cool, fine-grain sputtering is achieved with a very efficient low voltage DC magnetron head. The quick change target method allows a range of metals to be used.
The instrument is located inside the Zeiss SEM room at Schapiro 1016.
