Nick Olsen and Luke Holtzman, two graduate students researching under CNI Professors Xiaoyang Zhu, James Hone and the late materials scientist Katayun Barmak, recently launched Tessellate 2D, a new startup to commercialize the development of high-quality, ultrathin semicondcutors for research and industry at scale.
