Please visit the SMCL Access Checklist to gain lab access and a Badger account prior to requesting training!
Seek out training from qualified users prior to requesting certification.
If finding a qualified user is proving difficult, please contact the superuser listed in the last column of the equipment rates of the SMCL Equipment List.
Once the trainee feels as though they have had adequate training for proficient tool use, the trainee should contact the tool Super User to arrange for a certification session to gain “user”-level instrument access through the Badger system.
User access may be revoked due to improper tool usage, poor Badger reservation etiquette or prolonged usage inactivity.
