GENERAL INFORMATION | STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE
The Nanomagnetics ezAFM determines thickness and surface cleanliness with a height resolution of about 2nm. It can also identify step edges on exfoliated samples with multiple thicknesses. Samples are secured with double-sided tape and may be up to approximately 10 cm in diameter. The maximum scan size is 120 x 120 um. Topography, amplitude and phase contrast imaging modes are available. The ezAFM is now located inside the clean room in CEPSR and clean room access is required in order to use it.
